I first tried a Dremel that was cordless (rechargeable battery) with 2 speeds. But I found the sanding accessory tough to attach and the 2 speeds (5,000/10,000) not to my liking.
I returned the Dremel and found this B&D at my local Walmart for $25. I like having it corded (so I don’t go through batteries and it offers more power for other household uses).
So far, it’s worked well. It came with a few basic accessories (including the sanding bands). For a really long nail, I find the 60grit more useful. For touch-ups, the 120grit works well.
The only drawback is that I don’t know where to find replacement bands (hence I’m leaving off a star). The drum that holds the band that comes with the B&D is smaller in width than the Dremel. I suppose I could just buy a Dremel piece and use the Dremel sanding bands… but I like having the smaller sanding band.
