I didnt want to pay someone to mount shelves against the foundation in the basement so I bought this drill. Combined with a quality drill bit, it works very well. Its kinda on the heavy side but I just used it intermittently and put up about 200 feet of shelving in a weekend.

I have a brick house and have been struggling drilling holes through the masonry. This drill cuts through concrete, brick and stone like a knife through butter. And it’s got a setting for regular drill mode.

I wanted to mount shelves to the cement walls in the basement. I struck out when trying to use a regular drill with masonry bits and I heard that the .22 caliber cartridges arent the best way for strenght. Combined with a good masonry drill, I was able to install about 100 feet of shelving fairly quickly. I highly recommend it if you either have a critical job to do or a job that would require over 20 holes.
