There is nothing on the product box indicating this is a “HVLP” spray gun. A question to CH Power gave us the following response; “This is a general purpose spray gun but not a HVLP gun Go to chpower.com and look for HVLP sprayers DH7900 and DH7700 are both Hvlp spray guns”

Probably a fine gun & product but not “HVLP”

Disregard my rating; I had to put in something to submit the review. Nwever used the gun

Maybe I got a lemon but this thing refused to spray anything but air! Didn’t seem to matter which configuratrion I used. My compressor (which is tired of endless nail guns) and I were quite bummed about this and sent it back

This spray gun has everything that a amateur would need. It works great I sprayed 14 pre-primed doors in about 4 hours, they took one coat, and it was a mirror finish. You can not ask for anything more from a spray gun in this price range. Be prepared to have a lot of overspray as is to be expected with any spray gun.
