There is one thing i would like to say about it that i don’t fell in love with, and it is the rests on the grinding wheels…those are vibrating little bit and that’s all i can complain about this product. Everything else i find very good. Regardless of this little thing with the rests…I recommend this product.

Gave this to my son as a gift. He seems quite pleased with it.

***DEWALT DW758 8-Inch Bench Grinder***I have collected/purchased many tools over my 50+ yrs and as always I strive to purchase only quality tools that will give me many years of use. As we know many of today’s tools are cheaply mass produced with much less quality and will not stand the test of time and “DO NOT” perform well, I like to call these disposable tools. I want to know that when I have a project to do that I have the correct tool to do the job. This being said and being a proud owner of many quality DeWalt tools this grinder meets all my needs. I would highly recommend this item to anyone, a very good quality tool at a very good price. Heartland USA

One of the wheels wobbled. Bad QA. I returned it. Amazon’s return policy is excellent.

I bought this grinder to replace a 6″ Craftsman unit that just didn’t have the power to do what I needed. This one did not disappoint! It’s got loads of power, runs smooth and quiet and like the Energizer Bunny, keeps going and going and going …

I use this with a grinding wheel on one side and a coarse wire wheel on the other. The grinder will take down anything I’ve thrown at it; the wire wheel will bear down on anything, stripping automotive frame paint like it was nothing. It’s a tool I can rely on, and that’s what matters.

I, too, read the warning about bearing lubrication. But, 3 years later with scores of hours of use, it still works like it did right out of the box. It’s a solid tool at a solid value. No regrets here!
